The other night, before I go to sleep, Edgar said I look like a nun. He said Geneive or Bedievere. Bedievere turns out to be a knight of Arthur who is the last person to upheld the honor of throwing Excalibur back into the lake, because Arthur died. I'm like, "Poe, that's creepy because it's concidental." We all know he's fascinating with death. :P

"I rather like your house. It's small, quiet, and cozy."
"You're joking, Edgar. My mom and brother make too much noise at night that I can barely sleep. The reason you like it here, because you get to stay here for free. =3="
"All the more reason to stay comfortable!"

This happened after I read and surmised what really happened to Virginia, Edgar's true wife. I recieve some nudgings and Edgar looked at me with those sad, begging, puppy eyes.
"Yes, Edgar, how can I help you?"
"If it's not too much to ask, may I bring Virginia too?"
"Huh? Why?"
"She comes with me wherever I go. And when you do tarot sessions or writing stories, she'll be by my side. She'll harm nobody and she's sweet."
"Okay, but I can't see why she likes me. I'm not into children, even though she and I are roughly the same age."
"She won't make a fuss and won't make a noise. And maybe if you need help, she can help you. She can make herself useful."
After some thought, "Is she Sigyn to you?" Facepalm.
"Absolutely. She is my very breath and my life. She is my bride. And my friend. I love her." Goes on and on. Okay I get it.
"Sure, she can stand by and observe."
He looks absolutely delighted and now I feel a different kind of Poe I never felt before. And furthurmore, I feel my own patience and compassion expand. I think he felt a LOT better when I said I believe she is Poe's true soulmate. We shall see.

I remember I have a daydream vision of Poe getting himself into a duel. I was studying the French Revolution at the time for the entire week due to my fascination with the anime Rose of Versailles and the real Marie Antoinette, and studying how people conduct duels.
I was reading Virginia Clem, because I wanted to know her more, and it turns out there WAS a duel and a pistol was involved, but the duel was more of a fistfight over a scandal over an older women.
Either way, I got the praise, "She protected me." When Virginia promised him to be his guardian angel.

Just talking about spending nearly $10 on a certain book. Poe gave me a very grim face, as if he felt bad of me spending.
I'm like, "Dear Heart, it's your work and her work that you both created together. Even though I don't like it, it felt like paying YOU through your chosen channel for the WORK that you do. You earned it sweetheart. Besides, in a month or two, the debt can be paid off easy peasy."
With a sigh of relief, he breaths and relax, and mumbled, "Sorry, I wish it was...I wish it was better. I want to live up to your expectations."
"Be yourself and have fun, and embrace the magic around. That's what I wish for."
To wish happiness, compassion, and empathy for another, that's a good lesson to work on.
